About Craftsman Tiny Homes

Craftsman Tiny Homes

is a family-owned business based in Archer, Florida near Gainesville, specializing in building affordable, custom tiny homes with a focus on craftsmanship.

The company's roots go back to when the father, started building in 1976, as a skilled general contractor, obtained his California General Contractors License in 1989, and has since built countless homes. He passed on his knowledge and skills to his three sons, teaching them the trade from a young age.

For several years, the family worked together in remodeling and flipping houses. Eventually, they shifted their focus to building Tiny Homes on Wheels, starting with their first model, "The Nordic." This home was initially named for its pine siding, which created a European aesthetic, but it has since evolved into a lofted home with higher ceilings. Following the Nordic, they introduced more economical model, "The Bunk," a single-story home, and "The Lookout," which features A-Frame roof with a balcony. Recently, they expanded their offerings to include "The Unibox," container homes - MORE affordable and durable housing. They are now working on a new model, "The Alpine," built with stained pine and featuring a unique roofline.
